| Sundown Mountain Alternative Education Program is a credit recovery high school that services primarily 11th and 12th graders in the Dysart Unified School District. Opened in 2004, our vision is to empower every student by providing tools and opportunities for life-long success. We support students from all four high schools within the district and help them achieve their goal of graduating high school. Sundown Mountain follows a block schedule- allowing a student to take less classes at the same time and earn credits at a faster pace. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Additional Benefits Information Staff can earn up to an additional $4,900 in performance measures. Hard-to-fill stipends up to $3,000 and years or service stipends may be additional funding when available. As a Dysart staff member, you are our most valuable asset. We are committed to providing you with the most competitive and cost-effective benefits programs possible. You are eligible for benefits if you are a Certified employee working full time in either a contracted .5 FTE or 1.0 FTE position, or if you are a classified employee working 6 or more hours in one position. Benefits are effective depending on the position or contracted start date. If this date is from the 1st - 15th of the month, benefits are effective the 1st of the following month.
