| Surprise Elementary School is a preschool through 8th grade elementary school in the Dysart Unified School District. Surprise Elementary offers an innovative atmosphere where leadership and student achievement promote a Surprise Strong culture. We strive for our students to be successful in the diverse world with which we live. Surprise offers students a unique computer science & engineering program. We offer elective/specials courses that provide opportunities in design thinking, computer science and engineering. We want our students to be prepared to thrive in an ever-changing, diverse world. We want to inspire our students, help them to see their potential and equip them with skills to be successful in both school and life. We want our students innovating with technology, moving beyond computer users to using emerging technology, design thinking, and social innovation to impact their communities. Surprise is easily accessible off of Dysart Rd and Greenway Rd and just west of Grand. |

Additional Benefits Information Staff can earn up to an additional $4,900 in performance measures. Hard-to-fill stipends up to $3,000 and years or service stipends may be additional funding when available. As a Dysart staff member, you are our most valuable asset. We are committed to providing you with the most competitive and cost-effective benefits programs possible. You are eligible for benefits if you are a Certified employee working full time in either a contracted .5 FTE or 1.0 FTE position, or if you are a classified employee working 6 or more hours in one position. Benefits are effective depending on the position or contracted start date. If this date is from the 1st - 15th of the month, benefits are effective the 1st of the following month.
