| Sonoran Heights is a 5th through 8th grade middle school in Dysart Unified School District. Opened in 2006, our vision is that we are dedicated to the development of critical thinking skills and technology-infused instruction, while providing a safe environment of personalized learning through a community approach for every student, every day. Sonoran Height is an ‘A’ rated school and has earned the A+ School of Excellence Award. At Sonoran Heights we create active learners by focusing on student strengths, needs and interests. Students at Sonoran Heights participate in a personalized learning environment with opportunities for academic advancement as appropriate for each student. Student growth is maximized through the strong relationships they build within their classroom and school We offer elective options for students throughout the school day and have high school class options for our eighth grade students. |

Additional Benefits Information Staff can earn up to an additional $4,900 in performance measures. Hard-to-fill stipends up to $3,000 and years or service stipends may be additional funding when available. As a Dysart staff member, you are our most valuable asset. We are committed to providing you with the most competitive and cost-effective benefits programs possible. You are eligible for benefits if you are a Certified employee working full time in either a contracted .5 FTE or 1.0 FTE position, or if you are a classified employee working 6 or more hours in one position. Benefits are effective depending on the position or contracted start date. If this date is from the 1st - 15th of the month, benefits are effective the 1st of the following month.
