| Kingswood Elementary School is located in the heart of Surprise, Arizona and serves students in grades preschool through eighth grade and has been a part of the community in Surprise since it was built in 1988. At Kingswood our mission is to serve the #WeAreKingswood community by providing a positive and safe environment that students want to be a part of, where parents feel like partners, and community members desire to support. Our Knights will realize their full potential as confident, innovative, lifelong learners by maintaining high expectations for conduct, according to the Knight’s Code, Academics, the Arts, and Athletics. We, as a school, realize the impact that parents have on the growth and success of our students. We, therefore, have a school plan for parental involvement that will describe the means for carrying out the requirements of Every Student Succeeds Act. Our students’ parents and the community shall be notified of the plan and its availability. Our Parental Involvement Plan shall be updated periodically with the involvement of our students’ parents. At Kingswood, we follow the Knight’s Code. Be Safe, Be Responsible and Be a Learner. We utilize Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies to improve school safety and promote positive behavior. Additional Benefits Information Staff can earn up to an additional $4,900 in performance measures. Hard-to-fill stipends up to $3,000 and years or service stipends may be additional funding when available. As a Dysart staff member, you are our most valuable asset. We are committed to providing you with the most competitive and cost-effective benefits programs possible. You are eligible for benefits if you are a Certified employee working full time in either a contracted .5 FTE or 1.0 FTE position, or if you are a classified employee working 6 or more hours in one position. Benefits are effective depending on the position or contracted start date. If this date is from the 1st - 15th of the month, benefits are effective the 1st of the following month.
