Job Description
Saint Rita Catholic Preschool, located in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking candidates for a M-F P/T 2-3s Instructional Aide for the 2021-22 preschool year. Saint Rita Catholic School is PreK to 8th grade. The Instructional Aide is responsible for assisting the Lead teacher with daily, standard-based lessons in a play-based environment to support students’s learning and application of developmentally appropriate skills and concepts. The Instructional Aide is expected to engage parents and colleagues in support of the early childhood curriculum as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Arlington. Job Responsibilities: support the execution of daily lesson plans consistent with Archdiocesan curriculum guidelines. Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times, and for classroom management. Applicants must be willing to participate in faculty meetings, collaborative planning meetings, retreats and in-service learning opportunities. Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree, or working towards. Practicing Catholic.
